THE LODGE

This project included the internal refurbishment of the ground floor reception and lounge areas of this 48 no. bedroom guesthouse in Cork City. The works included the reconfiguration of the reception area with a new reception desk, floor finishes, lighting and decoration. A new guest lounge and administration office was was created by forming opening into the former meeting room. The works were carried out over a short construction period (4 weeks) to minimise the impact on business operations. This new reception area and guest lounge – which includes a large three sided feature stove resulted in a contemporary and welcoming areas for guests and their visitors.
