The project consisted of the extension to existing primary school to include a multi-purpose room, a sensory room, a new staff room and principle office, an autistic classroom unit and a main stream classroom and student / staff WC facilities. The design of the new building was in line with Department of Education Design Guidelines and resulted in high quality facilities for students and staff. Robust materials were selected to ensure a quality finish with low maintenance. Triple glazed windows were used to ensure energy conservation and lower heating costs.
