KANE | architects was established by Neil Kane MRIAI in 2010. Neil Kane MRIAI is a registered architect in Ireland (RIAI) and formerly in the the UK (ARB, RIBA & RIAS). KANE | architects is a national and international award winning architect practice having been awarded the RIAI Public Choice Award Bronze Medal for The Childs Playtower Project in 2016 and International Design Awards for The Playtower and Linnamilla House. Neil Kane MRIAI has over 20 years professional experience in architectural practice in the UK and Ireland. With experience in a wide range of sectors including private dwelling houses and social housing, healthcare, leisure and commercial projects. In 2010, Neil Kane MRIAI became a qualified EU Certified Passivhaus Designer, this low energy building design system is based on principles that result in ultra-low energy buildings, whether the project is to be certified passivhaus or not these principles are utilised in all KANE | architects design projects. In 2016 Kane Architects incorporated as a limited company. Neil Kane MRIAI is the sole Director and employs a number of technical and architectural staff in their offices in Fermoy soon to be moving to the Former Christ Church, Dispensray Lane, Rathcormac in 2022.
